Or in my case, more than two.  I know I shouldn’t complain as its Summer now so games are going to dry up like the UK’s water supplies! but I also need to find the time to play all these good games

I am hoping I am near the end of Darksiders, although its an excellent game so in a way I hope I’m not! Super Mario Galaxy 2 is somehow even better than the first in the series and gives my Wii some love at last, luckily this is the sort of game where you can do the odd levels here and there around other things… like the washing up etc..

Still need to get back into Red Dead Redemption, but I now also have Crackdown 2 to play… after I started this up last night I can see my urge to chase after those green orbs returning!

This probably wasn’t the best time for me to try and get back into playing Eve Online then, I will try and juggle them all… somehow… god only knows how

Red Dead Redemption was keeping me pretty busy until Lovefilm sent me Darksiders… this was a title I didn’t know much about but had seen some good feedback on.  I started playing it and now can’t stop, it’s a really well made title.  Sort of a mix of God of War and a Zelda game, and it works really well…so much so I think its going to keep me off Red Dead until I have finished it.

Eve Online is also making a come back, or at least I am going to try and fit playing it into my schedule… not sure if it’s going to work but I hope so.  Problem is Crackdown 2 is out this week…

The next Eve Online expansion, Tyrannis will go live on the 18th May.

CCP have released the Alpha version to the masses so we as players can stress test it and I must say from having a quick look around its pretty neat.

Being able to mail people in-game from outside of it is going to be useful, hopefully a mobile friendly version of this will appear at some point (iPhone app please!).

Anyway if you are a Eve Online subscriber head over to https://test.evegate.com/ and give it a go, don’t panic if the data looks a bit old as its taken from Sisi the test server.

This week has had the following…

A well run team of Medic and an Assault (hi CrazyHippo) happily taking on a whole enemy team and winning, alot. These games of stompage also revealed my Medic is able to absorb an insane amount of damage! Me also finding out that Robotics are a fun class to play when played right.

Getting all my gear in order and loaded into my carrier in Eve Online so I can finally jump over to where my new corp is so I can get involved once again in playing Eve properly.

Realising that Uncharted 2 is one of the best made games I have played so far, I am looking forward to completing this!

Realising that playing a video game character in Ghostbusters the game might not be as fun as being a real Ghostbuster, but its close enough for now!

Hopefully this weekend I can pick up a copy of Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing and enjoy some good old fashioned kart racing on the 360 with the kids, watching them fight over being Sonic should be fun…

It is going to be hard to tear myself away from playing Uncharted 2 as that game is truly amazing, but hopefully I can blast through Ghostbusters pretty quickly.

On top of both of these I still need to get myself organised in Eve by getting all my gear into my carrier and jumping it over to where the actual corp is so I can get playing properly again. I also want to play some more Global Agenda as my medic is now very close to hitting level 30 and I want to get my recon up as well.

4-5 months ago I was moaning that I had nothing to play… just goes to show that gamers are never happy unless they are moaning about something

Versatech is part of Æternus Alliance, and they are also home to alot of old faces from the old BNC/BoB days which is nice.  This move should give me time to sort out all my ships in empire and get them to my new base and get involved more around the time I have… at least that’s the plan anyway.

It wasn’t so long ago that goonfleet and co. managed to disband the Band of Brothers alliance so they lost all sov in their space and found it impossible to hold it so were forced to more out of Delve.

Since then they have been regrouping and rebuilding (now IT Alliance) and have since taken Fountain, they then started to attack Delve to try and reclaim their space.  The attack was in its very early stages when in the early hours of yesterday morning Goon sov started to drop all over Delve for an unkown reason. IT leadership as ever were on the ball and Delve was attacked full on and they started to grab as many stations as they could for themselves.  NOL of course was one of the first.

It would seem that goons did not have enough isk in the wallet that paid for the sov bills, hence sov dropped, not quite the same as what happened to BoB but still its good enough for me as its good to be home!

Goons appear to be abandoning Delve, but lets hope they at least give some sort of a fight.

At least it puts off the ‘training skills up to level 5′ training I have been doing for the last 6+ months

EVE Voice, Mail & Chat

Voice fonts have now been added to EVE Voice. This new feature will allow you to alter your voice during chat to increase or lower pitch or to change from male to female voices. This is certainly not going to be abused in any way.
